Medicaid
Updates
At the September 13, 2011 JCAR meeting, the members of JCAR
voted to continue the prohibition on the proposed DRA rules.
The next JCAR meeting is scheduled for October 11, 2011. Our
office is continuing to advocate on behalf of Illinois
citizens for rules that comply with the requirements of the
DRA rather than rules that would extend beyond the DRA
requirements; that would be unclear; and that would unduly
penalize the citizens of Illinois. Please continue to visit our website for
updates on the Medicaid eligibility rules.
